A long time between posts

4 months to be exact…

And has life been an experience in this time? When is it not (LOL)!?!

I mentioned to a friend recently that it is has been so long since we have posted that I wouldn’t know where to begin anymore. And she said… “you’ll just know when and what is right”.

So here I am, fumbling my way, with so much to write about, but not sure where to begin… so just beginning with today…

I woke this morning wishing that I could spend a few more hours in bed. The brain has been on overdrive and sleep has been short lived over the last few weeks, since I took up my place with our newly founded local Autism & Asperger’s support group.

The group (that has sprung forth simply from a fellow mum’s small seed of hope and determination) has blossomed into a bigger and more exciting project than I think many people would ever have imagined. And there is a sense of companionship, brightness, and enthusiasm that is infectious within the group itself and within the local community.

So today, whilst tired and in desperate need of sleep, I am grateful for what is becoming, and for what will be a remarkable project to be part of.
